Why are you doing what you're doing?

There are days when everything goes well, when you move forward with ease. And then there are those moments when you stop for a moment, breathless, wondering: But why am I doing all this, exactly? Why do you keep going, even when you're tired? Why do you invest so much and sometimes feel like you're sacrificing yourself? The truth is that somewhere deep inside, there's this need to know that what you're doing matters and makes a difference.
And rest assured, if your answers aren't clear, that's okay. I encourage you to take some more time to reflect, with kindness. Because when you reconnect with your deepest motivation—your true life's purpose—you rediscover your light, your inner fire… and that changes everything.
Why is it important to know your deepest motivation?
Because life's path isn't always straight and easy. When the winds shift, when storms rise (and they always do, sooner or later), what keeps you going isn't your schedule or your to-do list. It's what makes you feel alive, what has meaning for you. It's your life's mission, your WHY.
The "why" isn't something mysterious or reserved for those who change the world on a grand scale. It's what deeply motivates you, what makes you feel alive, what you want to leave as a trace of your existence.
And I have a few tools to help you clarify the expression of your life's mission. By answering these questions on a sheet of paper or in your favorite notebook, you'll surely understand why you do what you do, why you stand tall, and why you keep moving forward, always!
1. What makes you want to get up in the morning?
Not what you have to do, but what you WANT to do, what gets you moving without needing to be pushed.
2. When do you feel most alive?
Is there a moment, an activity, a place, or encounters that make you feel connected, inspired, or perfectly aligned?
3. What makes you angry or upset?
Often, your life's mission lies hidden where your heart leads you. What irritates, outrages, or deeply worries you says a lot about what you want to help change.
4. If everything were possible, without constraints, what would you prioritize?
No money limit, no justification, no obligation. Just you, your heart, and your time. What would you do that truly matters to you?
5. What do people naturally come to you for?
Advice, a listening ear, joy, comfort? Often, others see in you what you don't yet dare to name or imagine. Their gaze can be a precious mirror.
6. What kind of mark do you want to leave?
What would you like people to remember about you? What do you want people to say about you in your absence? What do you want to pass on to others?
And here is your mission!
By reviewing your notes, you'll discover a common thread running through all your answers. Your mission lies there. That's your zone of genius. It's what you do that makes you feel like you're in your element, what draws people to you.
